Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Nora (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Nora is provided by Nora, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

Description of Service

Nora is an email management and automation platform designed for real estate professionals. The Service:

  • Reads incoming emails from your connected email account
  • Generates draft email responses for your review
  • Presents drafts for your review and approval before sending
  • Provides optional automation features that you can configure

Important: By default, Nora creates drafts that require your explicit approval before sending.

Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • A licensed real estate professional or authorized to act on behalf of one
  • Authorized to connect and manage the email account you use with Nora

Account Registration and Security

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

Email Authorization

  • You authorize Nora to access your email account as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You can revoke this authorization at any time through your email provider's security settings
  • We will only access emails and perform actions as described in our Privacy Policy

Acceptable Use

You May

  • Use Nora to manage and respond to business-related emails
  • Review, edit, and approve draft emails before sending
  • Configure automation features based on your preferences
  • Connect multiple email accounts if authorized to do so

You May Not

  • Use Nora for spam, harassment, or unsolicited commercial emails
  • Use Nora to send fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Use Nora in violation of any applicable laws or regulations

Email Sending and User Responsibility

  • You are responsible for all emails sent through Nora
  • Review drafts carefully before approving
  • Ensure email content complies with applicable laws and regulations
  • Verify accuracy of information before sending
  • You remain liable for the content of emails sent from your account
  • Nora is a tool to assist you—it does not replace your professional judgment or legal obligations

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

  • Nora and all related trademarks, logos, and service marks are owned by us
  • The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is our proprietary property
  • You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of your email content and data
  • By using Nora, you grant us a limited license to process your emails solely to provide the Service
  • We do not claim ownership of your business communications or professional data

Data and Privacy

Your use of Nora is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:

  • What data we collect and why
  • How we store and protect your information
  • Your rights regarding your data
  • How to request data deletion

Service Availability and Changes

No Guarantee of Availability

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access
  • We are not liable for service interruptions

Changes to Service

  • We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time
  • We will provide reasonable notice of material changes
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Nora is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for the content of emails you send using Nora
  • We are not liable for lost business, revenue, or opportunities resulting from service use or outage

You acknowledge that you are responsible for reviewing all communications before sending and that automated systems may require human oversight.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Content of emails you send through Nora

Termination

By You

  • Terminate your account at any time through account settings
  • Request deletion of your data by contacting support@hello-nora.ai

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You use the Service for fraudulent or illegal purposes
  • Your account is inactive for an extended period
  • We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice)

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access ceases immediately
  • We delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it
  • You remain responsible for any fees owed

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@hello-nora.ai to attempt informal resolution.

Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

General Terms

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nora.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on our website
  • Sending an email to your registered address
  • Updating the “Last Updated” date

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
